The Well at Sunnyside
All Saints Church works alongside thirty additional churches from the area, serving those in need. Meals are offered, a Free Store is available. Other programs are often given, including a Free Income Tax Filing Service, and a Mentoring Program.
St. Vincent de Paul Society
We work with our friends at St. Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church in providing assistance to those in our community in need of financial assistance for rent and utilities.
Our churches donate monthly to the Fayette County Food Pantry which is housed at The First Presbyterian Church in Washington Court House. We also partner with the Presbyterians for Vacation Bible School, fun Halloween activities, our Lenten Series, and Holy Week activities. We are pleased this year to add an Advent Series on Tuesday evenings. We are blessed to have Pastor Gray Marshall and all the parishioners as such good friends.
Academy of Scholars
Each fall we honor the members and new inductees of the Washington City Schools 'Academy of Scholars'. This event is held under a tent with entertainment provided by a DJ. Students eat, dance, and socialize before heading to the induction ceremony. In past years, we've hosted up to 250 students!
A Tasteful Event
Also held under the tent, this event is open to the public and features food and beverage-tasting stations from local restaurants. This popular evening kicks off one of our major fund raisers and all proceeds go to the S.O.C.K.S. Program. (see below).
S.O.C.K.S. Program (Spirit of Christmas for Kids)
The S.O.C.K.S. Program has been in existence for nearly 40 years and provides new toys for local children at Christmastime. Donations from businesses, individuals, and proceeds from 'A Tasteful Event' allow our shoppers to purchase age-appropriate gifts. On a Saturday morning before Christmas, families are invited to 'shop' and choose 3 gifts for each of their children.
Come Grow with Us
For the past several years, St. Andrew's and Good Shepherd (now All Saints) have grown corn or soybeans and used all the proceeds to fund our various Outreach programs. All input costs (land, seed, fertilizer, planting, and harvesting, etc.) are donated by local companies and individuals, so 100% of the proceeds are offered.
Located across the street from the Washington City Schools High and Middle Schools, The Warehouse provides a wonderful, inclusive, supportive hangout for our teens. We, along with many others in our community support the efforts of the staff there.
Harvest Express Program
In conjunction with Cargill Grain Elevator in Bloomingburg, we created the Harvest Express Program which allows farmers to donate a portion of their grain to help fund outreach programs.
All Saints participates in this annual event sponsored by Fayette County Memorial Hospital. We normally see well over 1,000 people during their visit to our booth. We offer prayers for healing for those in need as well as just a sympathetic ear.
Fayette Land and Livestock 4-H and Cloverbud Club
The Fayette Land and Livestock 4-H and Cloverbud Club meets in Fellowship Hall at All Saints on two Sunday afternoons each month during the spring and summer. In keeping with our focus on Outreach, the group recently had a food drive and donated all items to the Fayette County Food Pantry located in the First Presbyterian Church.
